Merit Cum Means Scholarships For Professional and Technical Courses | According to Census 2001 (2017–18) & 2011, the number of scholarships must be determined by State/UT, taking into account the minority population of those States/UTs as a whole (2018-20). The applications from the Listed Institutions will be used up first in the merit list within the State-wise Allocations. If there are more of these pupils than the State/Community-based quota, the regular merit list criteria will be applied. Following that, other verification applicants/students will be chosen from the merit list based on the percentage/marks of their most recent academic course or board (higher secondary / graduation) exam. |
Saksham Scholarship For Disabled Students | From among these applicants, the individuals who will pursue technical education will be chosen on the basis of merit at the qualifying examination. The other requirement is that candidates must have been accepted through the State/Central Government’s centralised admission process into the first year of a degree or diploma programme at any of the AICTE-approved institutions during the academic year 2014–15. |
