Rajasthan NMMS 2024: Apply Online, Eligibility Criteria and Last Date

The Rajasthan School Education Department has announced the Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2024 for the students of the state who are in public and provisional schools. The students need to fill out the application form to appear in the Rajasthan NMMS Examination which will be conducted soon. The selected candidates from class 9th to 12th standard will get Rs. 12,000 per annum for the expenses of their education. Students need to fill out the application form for the Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2023-24 from 16th September 2023.

Students must score a minimum of 55% marks in the 7th standard for the General Category and 5% marks concession for Reserved category students to be eligible for the Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2024. The Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship Exam will be conducted in 2 modes. The first paper will contain questions from the Mental Ability Test and the second paper will be from the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

• To be eligible for the scholarship it is necessary to score at least 55% marks in 7th standard. Through the Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship, the rate of dropout students will decrease, and the literacy rate increase as all students take the privilege of education.

The objective of Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2024

The main aim of Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2024 is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the students who are financially privileged. With the rising amount of school fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to drop out of school. Through this Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship, 2024 students will easily pay their school fees. The selected students will receive Rs. 1000 every month from 8th class to 12th class. Many students are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of school fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students.

National Means Cum Merit Scholarship

The NMMS Scholarship has been introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s Department of School Education and Literacy. National Merit cum Means Scholarship is a great financial support for those students who are not financially strong but have a faith to be an educated person to fulfill all their dreams and desires. NMMS Scholarship will offer Rs. 12,000 to the students who pass class 7th from any government or government-aided school except students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools, residential schools are not eligible. Under NMMS scholarship students will be able to continue their studies because they will get financial assistance from 8th class to 12th class.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
• Students who pass class 7th and are now in 8th standard will be eligible for the scholarship.
• Students must score a minimum of 55% marks in the 7th standard for the General category and 50% for Reserved category students to be eligible for the Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2023.
• Students from government or government-aided schools expect students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools, and residential schools to be eligible.
• The annual income should not be more than Rs. 3.5 lakh per annum.

Reward Details

The students from Rajasthan who are in class 9th to 12th standard will get financial assistance of Rs. 12,000 per annum for their educational expenses. It means students will get RS. 1,000 per month for the duration of 3 years.
