The Google Science Fair 2024 is an online based test for students who are enrolled in higher education courses. Google, National Geographics, LEGO Education, Virgin Galactic, & Scientific American started Google Science Fair for students between the age group of 13 to 18 years. The students who participate in the competition must have a proper internet connection, free login to the Google account, and a proper setup to delay any consequences. The selected students will receive multiple rewards such as the winner of the competition will get $50,000 as a scholarship fund with various accommodations.

• Students can use the following language for giving the test: English, German, Italian, Spanish, or French, and also Arabic, Hebrew, Polish, Japanese, Russian, Turkish, Portuguese, Korean, or Chinese. For the competition, students have to submit their projects in the various subjects of science and maths like Energy & Space, Inventions & Innovation, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Google Science Fair

The students must fulfill the following criteria for the Google Science Fair:

• To be eligible for the Google Science Fair, students must be enrolled in higher education.
• The age of the candidate must be between 13 to 18 years old.
• Students must get permission from their parents or guardians to participate in the competition.
• If any candidate is under 19 years old during the competition session then they will not be disqualified.
• Students who were born between 21/02/199 and 17/05/2005 are able to participate in the competition.
• Students from Europe will participate and must belong to the age group of 16 years.
• Applicants must have a valid email id.
• Students who belong to the following countries: Cuba, Iran, Sudan, North Korea, and any other US countries are not able to participate in the competition.

Google Science Fair Online Registration

• Applicants need to visit the Google account to sign in.
• The homepage will appear on your screen.
• Here you have to do your registration in the following ways:
• Now students need to submit their project on the chosen topic which will ultimately be beneficial for the environment.
• Students need to fill in the entry as he/she wants to apply as an individual or a team of 3 members.
• In case a student applied for more than 1 entry then 1 entry will be chosen and the rest of them will be eliminated.
• Students who don’t follow entries according to the competition guidance will be disqualified.
• The arrangement of the candidates will be done on the basis of age and regional groups based on their registration.
• The students will be arranged in age groups by Google in the following ways:
  • 13-15 years, 16-18 years
• Arrangement on the basis of regional groups:
  • Americas, APAC (Asia, Pacific), and Europe/Africa/Middle East.
