A new scholarship scheme has been introduced by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation. The scholarship is mainly for economically weaker students who enrolled in class 11th and 12th standard. This Vidyadhan Scholarship 2024 will offer financial assistance to students for their studies and graduation. The students who passed their 10th board and are presently in 11th and 12th may apply for a scholarship. They can also continue their scholarship for their graduation. As they get 10,000 to 60,000 per year during graduation and Rs. 500 per month in their 11th and 12th standard.

This scholarship is for all state students and recently 5,000 students are connected through Vidyadhan Scholarship in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana. Importance of Vidyadhan Scholarship

Vidyadhan Scholarship is started by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation with a clear vision of offering free education to all students who are financially weak but eager to complete their education. The scholarship will be a great opportunity for meritorious students as this scholarship is not limited to one state. Every state student may enroll themselves and get the advantages. After the completion of the 10th standard\SSLC exam, the selection of students will be done based on a selection procedure that includes tests and interviews.

• The selected students will get an opportunity to attend the mentoring program introduced by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation. Students can apply for scholarships without any registration fees.
• The selection will be done only by the foundation itself. No other institution or individual will be responsible for doing so on their behalf.

The main objective of the Vidyadhan Scholarship is to develop a scholarship scheme that will not be restricted to any particular state. Vidyadhan Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following qualifying requirements must be met by the candidate to be considered for the scholarship scheme:

• Applicants must be a permanent resident of India.
• The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/-
• Students must belong to the Economically Weaker Section of the society.
• Students must score 90% marks or equivalent marks in their class 10th or SSLC.
• The students who are physically disabled will score 75% marks in their 10th or SSLC exam.
• The student must belong to the following states of the country: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana.

Benefits of the Vidyadhan Scholarship

The following benefits will be received by the students under the Vidyadhan Scholarship:

• The Vidyadhan Scholarship is introduced for EWS students who cannot afford the expenses of their education.
• The students who passed their 10th board and are presently in 11th and 12th may apply for a scholarship. They can also continue their scholarship for their graduation.
• As they get 10,000 to 60,000 per year during graduation and Rs. 500 per month in their 11th and 12th standard.

• The selected students from classes 11th and 12th will get 500 rupees per month or 5000 rupees annually.
• The students who enrolled in the graduation program will get 10,000 to 60,000 rupees per annum for the duration of their course.
