A new initiative has been introduced by the government of Haryana for talented and meritorious students to offer them financial assistance in the form of the Haryana State Meritorious Incentive Scheme 2024.  This initiative has been started to motivate talented students who wanted to pursue higher education but because of the financial crisis never got the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.  Under this Haryana State Meritorious Incentive Scheme 2024 students will be selected who are topper of their pursuing courses. The selected candidates will get a scholarship amount throughout their undergraduate or postgraduate degree which will cover their educational expenses. 

The selection of students will be done based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and academic records required.  All the candidates must submit their application form before the deadline after which they are not able to avail the benefits of this scholarship. The selected candidates will get a scholarship amount up to Rs. 5,000, 3000, or 2,000 per annum in their bank account via direct bank transfer method.

The objective of Haryana State Meritorious Incentive Scheme

The main aim of the Haryana State Meritorious Incentive Scheme is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this Haryana State Meritorious Incentive Scheme, students will easily pay their graduation or post-graduation fees. The selected students will receive Rs. 5,000, 3,000, or 2,000 for the duration of their pursuing courses.

• Many students are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of school fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students. This will encourage many talented students to fulfill their passion and make their families or India proud.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
• Candidates must complete 10 + 2 examinations with at least 60% marks in the Haryana-recognised School.
• Candidates should enroll in undergraduate OR Postgraduate courses in Haryana state.
• The candidate should be in a Government college in Haryana.

Application Fee

There will be no application fees for the submission of the Haryana State Meritorious Incentive Scheme form.

The selection of students will be done based on the Merit list. Candidates should score the highest marks in their class.

• Students first need to visit the official website of the Department of Higher Education in Haryana.
• The home page will appear on your screen here you need to click on a Student Registration option under the student column.
• After that, the registration page will be on your screen where you need to enter your Parivar Patra number.
• Now you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
• Fill in the OTP and required column and complete all the details asked in your registration form which will contain:

  • Email ID, etc
• After filling in all these details you need to click on the Submit button to complete the process.
