A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for Indian resident students by the University of East Anglia UK to provide them with financial assistance to cover their educational expenses and provide them an opportunity to pursue Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses. The University of East Anglia with the other 25 top universities of the UK will be presenting the University of East Anglia Scholarship for Indian Students 2024. The students will be applying under the scholarships according to the type of course they are involved in.

There will be multiple academic courses available for Indian students. The registration process will be done in online mode only. There will be multiple scholarship programs which are introduced for undergraduate or postgraduate students. UEA India Award

The UEA India Award is a scholarship opportunity that is introduced for Indian resident students to provide them with financial assistance. This UEA India Award scholarship is introduced for Postgraduate students where they will get 4,000 pounds, 5,000 pounds for earning a final undergraduate grade of 65% or higher, and an additional 5,000 pounds for earning an LLB score of 60% or higher. Students will be able to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration. There will be multiple courses available for students to pursue in post-graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must be a permanent resident of India.
  • The candidate should enroll in Postgraduate courses in UK universities which are considered in the UEA.
  • Applicants must score at least 60% in LLB or 65% in Undergraduate courses.
  • Students must fulfill the UEA criteria to be eligible.

UEA India Undergraduate Scholarship

The UEA India Undergraduate Scholarship is also introduced for Indian resident students to provide them with financial assistance. This scholarship will be for students who have an offer letter for undergraduate courses in UEA universities. The selected candidate will receive the scholarship amount up to Rs. 4,000 pounds in the 1st year of a Bachelor’s.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must be a permanent resident of India.
  • The candidate should enroll in Undergraduate courses in UK universities which are considered in the UEA.
  • Applicants from MBBS Medicine, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Occupational Therapy, and MSc/BSc Speech and Language Therapy are not eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme.

Global Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

The Global Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship is introduced for international students to provide them with financial assistance. This scholarship will be for students who have an offer letter for undergraduate courses in UEA universities. The selected candidate will receive a scholarship amount of up to Rs. 4,000 pounds for 3 years of Undergraduate and exceptional cases will be given Rs. 10,000 yearly basis.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must be international.
  • The candidate should enroll in Undergraduate courses in UK universities which are considered in the UEA.
  • Students must fulfill the UEA criteria to be eligible.

Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship

The Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship is introduced for Indian students who are good at writing skills so they will get an opportunity to enroll in departments of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing at UEA. The students who are selected under the Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship will be getting tuition fees or other maintenance allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must be a permanent resident of India.
  • The candidate must belong to the financially weaker section and cannot afford their expenses.
  • The applicant must enroll in Postgraduate courses. 

David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship

The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarships is introduced by the Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) in Global Plant Health to provide several scholarships for limited students in MSc. The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship and the David Sainsbury 35% Fee Scholarship are the two scholarships available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must belong to the least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country.
  • The candidate should receive a receipt offer from the MSc in Global Plant Health.
