AICTE Support to Students for Participating in Competition Abroad Scheme

To support or encourage the technical engineering students of India the AICTE has introduced a scholarship scheme to financially support them. Under this AICTE Support to Students for Participating in Competition Abroad Scheme, the students will receive a scholarship amount for participating in the technical competition abroad which will cover their travel expenses in India or internationally. The candidate may participate individually or as a team of 2 to 10 members.

To motivate engineering students to advance in their field of technical education, bachelor students are encouraged to compete in scientific events at the international level. In this article, we will provide detailed information which is necessary for registration. It will include the objective, benefits, eligibility criteria, mode of application or many more details.

AICTE Support to Students for Participating in Competition Abroad Scheme

The All India Council for Technical Education has introduced the Support to Students for Participating in Competition Abroad Scheme (SSPCAS) for Indian technical engineering students to offer them travel expenses for their participation in international competitions. AICTE is seeking proposals for two categories of SSPCA schemes: Category A: To compete in a prestigious international competition that the AICTE will announce. Category B: To compete in a prestigious international competition that a student would suggest.

• The selected candidates will get a scholarship amount up to Rs. 2 lakh for all their expenses; it will include: travel, both domestic and foreign, registration fees, visa applications, lodging, airport taxes, trip insurance, and competition-related equipment expenditures. The competition will be continued for 10 days maximum.

The main aim of the AICTE Support to Students for Participating in Competition Abroad Scheme is to support or encourage the technical engineering students of India by offering them financial support for participating in international technical competitions. With the rising amount of competition registration or traveling fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to withdraw their names. Through this AICTE Supports to Students Participating in the Competition Abroad Scheme

Students will easily pay their fees. The selected students will receive a Scholarship amount for the duration of their competition. This will encourage many talented students to fulfill their passion and make their families or India proud.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should be a permanent student of Technical engineering courses in AICTE-approved institutes.
• A single or team of 2 to 10 students will be eligible to participate in the competition.
• Candidate should enroll in the following courses: Diploma, B.E./ B.Tech., Integrated M.Tech., M.E./M.Tech., MBA, MCA, and Hotel Management.
• A student will only be qualified for financial assistance under the scholarship once while they are enrolled in classes.
