A great announcement was made by the chairperson of the Nabin Odisha Scheme VK Pandian at school in Jajpur on 12th February 2024. The chairperson VK Pandian said the Government of Odisha has been implementing the NUA-O Scholarship Odisha 2024 for the graduates and postgraduates of a state to provide financial assistance which will cover the educational expenses and provide them with skill training or other facilities.
During the announcement of the NUA-O Scholarship Odisha 2024 chairperson said the selected students will get a scholarship amount from Rs. 9000 to 11000 per annum. According to the sources this scheme has a budget of 385 crore for fiscal year 2023-24 to 2025-26 Almost 30 districts of Orissa will be covered in which the students from tribal and remote areas will be the priority.

This Nutana Unnata Abhilasha (NUA-O) Scholarship the students who belong to SC/ST or Shramik Category will be getting a scholarship amount of Rs. 10,000 for males and Rs. 11000 for females. Students from Graduate postgraduate from any degree of government or non-government colleges are eligible to apply. The aim is to cover at most 95% of a state to offer them this scholarship opportunity. Students whose parents are employed in government Jobs or who pay taxes are unfortunately not able to avail the scholarship benefit of NUA-O Scholarship Odisha.
