Odisha Post Matric Scholarship 2024: Apply Online and Check Eligibility

A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backwards Class students of Odisha who are currently enrolled in class 11th, 12th, or higher education level. Through the implementation of the Odisha Post Matric Scholarship 2024, meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses. Students who got selected under the Odisha Post Matric Scholarship 2024 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration.

Overview of Odisha Post Matric Scholarship 2024

The Odisha Post Matric Scholarship is introduced by the SC/ST and MBC Welfare Department, Government of Odisha for the SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EWS students to financially support them. The SC/ST students will get a scholarship amount up to Rs. 550 for day scholars and Rs.1200 for hostellers. The OBC/SEBC/EWS students will get Rs.350 for day scholars and Rs.750 per year for hostellers; this scholarship amount will depend on the students who are hostellers or day scholars. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.

• The annual family income of candidates from the SC/ST/OBC community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. The best part of this Odisha Post Matric Scholarship is that there are no Application fees for its submission. The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and academic records.

The main aim of the Odisha Post Matric Scholarship is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this Odisha Post Matric Scholarship will easily pay their fees. The selected students will receive a Scholarship amount for the duration of their pursuing course.
