The Mother Teresa Scholarship has been introduced by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala for minority students who belong to economically weaker sections of the state and cannot afford their educational expenses. Many students in Kerala are financially weak and because of this, they cannot continue their nursing diploma or paramedical courses from the colleges. To financially help such meritorious and needy students, the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala has implemented this Mother Teresa Scholarship 2024.

All the selected students will get financial assistance of Rs up to 15,000 per annum for the duration of 3 years or until the completion of their nursing diploma or paramedical course. The Department of Minority Welfare Government of Kerala has started the Mother Teresa Scholarship for the minority students of Kerala who are currently involved in 3-year nursing diploma or paramedical courses colleges. The students whose financial condition is unstable will get educational expenses of Rs 15,000 per year until the completion of their pursuing course. Students need to fill out their application form by the deadline which is on 9th March 2023. After the deadline, no one is able to avail of the benefit of the Mother Teresa Scholarship 2024. Students who are permanent residents of Kerala and belong to minority communities are only eligible to apply for this specific scholarship.

• After the filling and submission of the application form, the selection of eligible students will be done on the basis of their eligibility criteria and documents submitted with the application form, if all the documents and criteria match with this scholarship criteria then they are selected for getting financial assistance.

The main purpose of the Mother Teresa Scholarship is to support minority students toward higher education by offering them an amount of financial assistance. Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
• The students should study in nursing diploma or paramedical courses in colleges.
• The annual family income of students should not be more than 8 lakh per annum.
