The Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha has introduced BOC Scholarship Odisha 2024 for the students of the state who belong to SC/ST or other backward communities. This initiative has been started to motivate talented students who wanted to pursue higher education but because of the financial crisis never got the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.  Under this BOC Scholarship Odisha 2024 students will be selected who are in Technical courses. The selected candidates will get a scholarship amount throughout their undergraduate degree which will cover their educational expenses. 

The selection of students will be done based on the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and academic records required.  All the candidates must submit their application form before the deadline after which they are not able to avail the benefits of this scholarship. The BOC Scholarship is an initiative for economically disadvantaged students who belong to backward communities. Students must submit their scholarship application form before the last date which will be on 15th January 2024. After this, no one can avail of the benefit.

• Students will get a scholarship amount per year until the completion of their pursuing course. Each department student will get a different amount of benefit for day scholars and hostellers.

The objective of BOC Scholarship Odisha

The main aim of BOC Scholarship Odisha is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The candidate should enroll in ITI, Diploma or Technical courses of the state.
• Applicants must belong to the SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/General category of Odisha state.
• The students who have been continuously registered with the OB & OCWW board for a year are eligible.
• There should be no further scholarships offered to students by the federal or state governments.
