Through these schemes, scholarship is provided to the students. Recently the Government of Karnataka launched the SSP Scholarship 2024. Through this scholarship scheme pre and post-matric scholarships will be provided. Those students who are studying from class 1st to 10th will be provided pre-matric scholarship and those students who are studying post-class 10th will be provided a post-matric scholarship. Eligibility Criteria Of SSP Scholarship 2024

Technical Education Department

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
• Fee Reimbursement: The annual family income of the applicant should be between Rs 2.5 lakh to 10 lakh
• Defence Scholarship: ST/SC aspirant’s parents must be in the Army/Navy/Airforce or working as JCO/NCO/ Lower rank

Medical Education Department

• Fee Reimbursement: The annual family income of the applicant should be between Rs 2.5 lakh to 10 lakh
• Applicants must be a permanent resident of Karnataka

Karnataka state Brahmin development board

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
• Fee Reimbursement: Applicant’s annual family income should be Rs 100000 or less

Department of Backward Class Welfare

• Fee Reimbursement/post matric scholarship: For category 1 students the annual family income should be Rs 2.5 lakh or less and for category 2A, 3A, 3B, and other OBC aspirants the annual family income should be Rs 100000 or fewer applicants must be a permanent resident of less Karnataka

Department of disability welfare

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
• There is no income restriction for SC, ST, BCM, Brahmin, or general category applicant

• Merit cum means scholarship: Applicant’s annual family income should be Rs 2.5 lakh or less applicants must be a permanent resident of Karnataka

Ayush Department

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
• Fee Reimbursement: The annual family income of the candidate should lie between 2.5 lakh to 10 lakh

Social Welfare Department

• Fee Reimbursement: The family income of the applicant should be Rs 2.5 lakh or less annually
• Hostel Fee: Private Hostel Government HostelApplicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka

Tribal Welfare Department

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
• Fee Reimbursement: The family income of the Schedule caste category candidate should be Rs 2.5 lakh or less annually Fee: Private hostel/College run.

• The main objective of the SSP scholarship is to provide scholarships to those students who are unable to finance their education due to their weak financial condition
