PM YASASVI Pre Matric Scholarship Himachal Pradesh 2024 for Class 9 and 10

PM YASASVI is a Scholarship Scheme which is implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India for pre-matric students. Now the Government of Himachal Pradesh has also introduced the PM YASASVI Pre Matric Scholarship for the students of state from class 9th to 10th standard.  The PM Yasasvi Scholarship is for the students from Other Backward Category (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EWS), or  De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S-NT) categories.

Selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria. Students who want to apply for the PM YASASVI Pre Matric Scholarship Himachal Pradesh must fill out the registration form before 16 January 2024. Overview of PM YASASVI Pre Matric Scholarship Himachal Pradesh

PM YASASVI Pre Matric Scholarship is introduced in Himachal Pradesh for the students who are currently enrolled in class 9th or 10th standard. Through the PM YASASVI Pre Matric Scholarship Himachal Pradesh selected students from  Other Backward Category (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EWS), or  De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S-NT) categories will get financial assistance of Rs. 4,000 per year for educational purpose. It is compulsory for students to fulfill all the eligibility criteria.

• The annual income should be less than or equal to Rs. 2,50,000. Only 2 boys can avail of the PM YASASVI Pre-Matric Scholarship from a single family. But this rule is not applicable for girl students. This implies that the ability of their two brothers to earn scholarships will not be impacted if two girls from the same household win scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students should be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• Students must be enrolled in class 9th or 10th standard.
• The annual family income of the candidate should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000.
• Students belonging to Other Backward Category (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EWS) or  De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S-NT) categories.

Reward Details

Selected students will get financial assistance of Rs. 4,000 per year for their educational expenses.
