About Ishan Uday Scholarship
A new initiative has been taken by the University Grant Commission to provide scholarship benefits to eligible students to cover their educational expenses. There will be around 10,000 students who got selected for this prestigious Ishan Uday Scholarship. The selection of talented students will be done based on a state-wise merit list in online mode only. There will be 50% reservation for the students who are in humanities, arts, Social Sciences, Law, and Management, and the other 50% are earmarked for Science, Engineering & Technology, medical, technical, agriculture, forestry programmes, etc.
The selected students will get a scholarship amount monthly up to Rs. 5400 to 7800 based on pursuing courses. The scholarship benefit will be taken by the students who belong to the North Eastern Region.
