Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya 2024: Apply Online before Last Date

Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya 2024 was launched by the Meghalaya state government. To help all the students who were studying in school and have not cleared their class 12th examination the Meghalaya state government announced the launch of the Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya 2024. The Meghalaya pre-matric scholarship 2024 will provide financial assistance to all the students studying in school in the Meghalaya state. With the help of this scholarship, students can complete their schooling without worrying about financial troubles. All the applicants who want to avail the benefits of the Pre Matric Scholarship 2024 must fill out the application form before the last date 9th February 2024.

About Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya

To help the students who were studying in government or government-aided schools in Meghalaya state the Meghalaya state government launched the Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to all the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria so that they can continue their education without worrying about financial troubles. All the students to belong to the ST category who are day scholars in any school will get INR 150 and hostellers will get INR 350 monthly. All the students belonging to the SC category who are day scholars in any school will get INR 225 and hostellers will get INR 525 monthly.

Objective of Pre-Matric Scholarship Meghalaya

The main objective of launching the Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya is to provide financial assistance to financially unstable students studying in school. The selected applicants under the pre-matric scholarship in Meghalaya will get financial assistance from the Government of Meghalaya state. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. This scholarship will encourage the students to focus more on their studies by providing financial assistance. Only the applicants who belong to the SC or St category are eligible to avail of the benefits of the Pre Matric Scholarship Meghalaya 2024. The last date to fill out the application form for the pre-matric Scholarship Meghalaya is 9th February 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should be studying in classes 9th and 10th on a full-time basis.
• The applicant should be a resident of Meghalaya.
• They should belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe(ST).
• Their Parent/Guardian’s income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum. (for SC)
• Their Parent/Guardian’s income should not exceed Rs. 2. lakh per annum. (for ST)
• A scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other educational scholarship.

• On the new page read all the instructions and click on Continue.

• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
• You have to click on the option called “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• You have to click on the option called “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
