The Karnataka School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC), has announced the Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2024 for the students of the state who are in government or government-aided schools. The students don’t need to fill out the application form for themselves, as the school principal or headmaster will fill the student’s application form on their behalf. The Karnataka NMMS Examination will be conducted on 17th December 2023. The selected candidates from class 9th to 12th standard will get Rs. 12,000 per annum for the expenses of their education. The registration for Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2024 will be started on 13th September 2023.

Students must score a minimum of 55% marks in the 7th standard for the General Category and 5% marks concession for Reserved category students to be eligible for Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2024. The NMMS Karnataka Exam will be conducted in 2 modes. The first paper will contain questions from the Mental Ability Test and the second paper will be from the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

Karnataka National Merit cum Means Scholarship is a great financial support for those students who are not financially strong but have faith to be an educated person to fulfill all their dreams and desires. Students who pass class 7th from any government or government-aided schools expect students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools, and residential schools to be eligible. Under the Karnataka NMMS Scholarship, students will be able to continue their studies because they will get financial assistance from the 8th class to the 12th class. To be eligible for the scholarship it is necessary to score at least 55% marks in 7th standard.

• Students who score 60% marks in the 10th standard and 55% marks in the 11 standard will be able to continue their scholarship amount. The last date for Karnataka NMMS Scholarship registration will be on 4th October 2023.

The objective of Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2024

The main aim of Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2024 is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of school fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to drop out of school. Through this Karnataka NMMS Scholarship, 2024 students will easily pay their school fees. The selected students will receive Rs. 1000 every month from 8th class to 12th class. Many students are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of school fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students.

Karnataka National Means Cum Merit Scholarship

The NMMS Scholarship 2024 has been introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s Department of School Education and Literacy. National Merit cum Means Scholarship is a great financial support for those students who are not financially strong but have a faith to be an educated person to fulfill all their dreams and desires. NMMS Scholarship will offer Rs. 12,000 to the students who pass class 7th from any government or government-aided school except students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools, residential schools are not eligible.

• Under NMMS scholarship students will be able to continue their studies because they will get financial assistance from 8th class to 12th class. To be eligible for the scholarship it is necessary to score at least 55% marks in 7th standard. Through the NMMS Scholarship, the rate of dropout students will decrease, and the literacy rate increase as all students take the privilege of education.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka  NMMS Scholarship 2024

• Students must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
• Students who pass class 7th and are now in 8th standard will be eligible for the scholarship.
• Students must score a minimum of 55% marks in the 7th standard for the General category and 50% for Reserved category students to be eligible for the Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2024.
• Students from government or government-aided schools expect students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, non-government schools, and residential schools to be eligible.
• The annual income should not be more than Rs. 3.5 lakh per annum.
• Students who score 60% marks in the 10th standard and 55% marks in the 11 standard will be able to continue their scholarship amount.

Reward Details

The students from Karnataka who are in class 9th to 12th standard will get financial assistance of Rs. 12,000 per annum for their educational expenses. It means students will get RS. 1,000 per month for the duration of 3 years.

• They just need to visit the official Karnataka NMMS Scholarship website
• The homepage will appear on your screen, where you have to click on the Login for NMMS Examination option.
• After that a new page will appear, enter your User name or Password.
• Now Generate new password, and login again using the new password.
• After that Application form will appear on screen.
• A new page will open, here the school will enter their details or related information about the candidates.
• Now the application form will appear on your screen, fill in the following details:
