Introducing a scholarship scheme is a great way of promoting education for economically weaker section students. This time a new scholarship scheme has been introduced by the Union Minister of Education Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan for the deserving and meritorious students of Navodaya Vidyalaya School by providing financial assistance to cover their educational expenses. The Vidyanjali scholarship for NVS Students 2024 was launched on 6th February 2024 in New Delhi.
The Vidyanjali Scholarship has been in collaboration with the National Education Policy since 2020, for providing quality education services to talented students and also serving higher education institutions (HEIs). The Vidyanjali Scholarship letter has been given to the 6 Navodaya Vidyalaya School Students to encourage them and also all of them will be getting admission to the top higher educational institutes in India.
About Vidyanjali Scholarship
Vidyanjali Scholarship is a new opportunity introduced for the financially weak and meritorious students of Navodaya Vidyalaya Schools. Where students will be getting the opportunity of financial assistance, or enrolling from secondary to higher education level. Through the implementation of the Vidyanjali Scholarship, more than 14,000 students have been admitted to top-class universities without enrolling in any coaching programs.
- There will be 70 students receiving scholarships worth Rs. 5 crore. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of selected candidates via the DBT Method. The selection of students will be done based on the fulfillment of the desired eligibility criteria.

The objective of Vidyanjali Scholarship
The main aim of the Vidyanjali Scholarship is to financially help the meritorious students of Navodaya Vidyalaya Schools. Many students are financially weak and cannot afford the fees of their higher education. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this meritorious students of Navodaya Vidyalaya Schools students will easily pay their fees. The selected students will receive a Scholarship amount for the duration of their pursuing course.
- Many students are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of school fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students. This will encourage many talented students to fulfill their passion and make their families or India proud.
