To help the poor students who cannot afford quality education in Tripura state,  the Tripura state government launched the Tripura Scholarship 2024. Under this scholarship, all the selected students will get financial assistance from the government so that they can continue their education. All the students who belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category are eligible to apply for the Tripura scholarship. Tripura scholarship will help the students to build their careers and achieve their dreams with the help of education. Pre-Matric ST Scholarship Schemes

To help the financially unstable students who belong to the ST category the state government of Tripura launched the pre-matric ST scholarship scheme. All the students who are currently studying in their school and have not cleared the class 12th examination are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Only the students will belong to the ST category are eligible to apply for this scheme. All the selected students who are hostellers will get INR 6250 per year as financial assistance and the students who are day Scholars will get INR 3000. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must belong to the scheduled tribe category.
• The applicant must be in a government or government-recognized School.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per year.
• The applicant should not be under any other scholarship by the central or state government.
• The duration of the scholarship is only one year.

Post-Matric ST Scholarship Schemes

To help the financially unstable students who want to pursue higher education after completing their class 12th examination. The Tripura state government has launched post-matric St scholarship schemes for them. All the students of clear their class 12th examination and want to study higher education are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Only the students who belong to the ST category will be selected for the scholarship. All the students who want to apply for the scholarship must have passed the Matriculation or Higher Secondary or any higher examination of a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education.

• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per year.

Only the students who belong to the OBC, EBC, or DNT category are eligible to apply for this scheme. This scholarship will help the students to complete their education without worrying about financial troubles.  All the students who will get selected for the scholarship will get financial support from the government. The financial support will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must belong to the OBC, EBC or DNT category.
• be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh
• have passed the Matriculation or Higher Secondary or any higher examination of a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education
• belong to a family whose annual income is less than INR 2.5 lakh from all sources (whether employed or unemployed)
