For all the first-year BDS students who are economically weak and cannot afford the expenses of the education, there is a new scholarship introduced by Haleon India, founder of Sensodyne in partnership with Buddy4Study and Indian Dental Association (IDA) called Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship 2024. Students who are currently pursuing in the first year of BDS under government or government-aided colleges will be eligible for the benefit of the Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship 2024. The selected students will get INR. 4,20,000 for the duration of four years until their course is completed.
It is compulsory for the candidates to score at least 60% marks in their intermediate and to continue the scholarship amount students should have scored 60% marks. Candidates who belong to Sensodyne, Buddy for Study, Give India and IDA are not eligible to enroll under Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship 2024.
Importance of Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship 2024
Sensodyne IDA Shining Style scholarship is introduced only to help those students who are financially unstable and cannot arrange their college fees. Initially, this is scholarship is started only for Bachelor of Dental Surgery first-year students as this scholarship will offer financial assistance for up to four years of their course duration. And the scholarship amount will cover all their educational expenses, which include their tuition fee, hostilities, mess, food, and other stationary items.
- This will be a great help for multiple students who are aiming to become a doctor but due to their unstable financial condition, they are about to drop out from their studies. Students who are eligible for this scholarship need to attain at least 60% marks during their course duration to continue this scholarship amount. Based on their academic standing and financial situation, applicants for the “Sensodyne IDA Shining Star Scholarship Programme 2023–24” will be chosen. It entails a multi-stage procedure that is described below:
