The main objective of launching the Ministry of Labour and Employment Scholarship 2024 is to provide financial assistance to financially unstable students. To be eligible for this scheme the parent of the applicant should be Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Cine worker with at least six months of service. With the help of this scheme, students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial problems. Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Post-Matric

All the student who have completed their class 12th examination and want to study higher education.  The Ministry of Labour and Employment launch the Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Post-Matric. With the help of this scholarship, students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial problems.

• Financial assistance of INR 6000 will be given to the students who are pursuing degree courses and financial assistance of INR 25000 will be given to the students who are pursuing professional courses. The last day to apply for the Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Post-Matric is 31st January 2024.

Eligibility Criiteria

• Each candidate must possess a current government-issued work permit.
• Either of the parents of the students should be Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Cine worker with at least six months service.
• The total monthly Income of the Worker’s family from all sources should not exceed Beedi Workers INR 10,000 and Cine workers INR 8,000 per month.
• The applicant must have passed his previous year’s examination.
• Candidates for the award of scholarships should have taken regular admission for studies at recognized institutions in India in any course of general or technical education, including medical, engineering and agricultural studies.
• Students who receive scholarships or stipends from any other source will not be granted under this Scheme.

Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Pre-Matric

All the students Who are currently studying in school and have not cleared their class 12th examination. The Ministry of Labour and Employment launch the Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Pre-Matric. With the help of this scholarship, students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial problems. Financial assistance of INR 2000 will be given to the students who are in classes 9th to 10th and financial assistance of INR 3000 will be given to the students who are studying in the classes 11th and 12th. The last day to apply for the Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers – Pre-Matric is 31st January 2024.

• Identity card of the worker (Form B Register Number in case of Mineworkers).
• Copy of the front page of the Bank passbook or Cancelled Cheque (which should contain details of the account holder/beneficiary).
• Passing Certificate/Mark Sheet of previous Academic Year
• Income Certificate issued by the Revenue Authority

Reward Details

• The selected students for the Ministry of Labour and Employment Scholarship 2024  will get financial assistance from the Government of India.
