About Nagaland NMMS Scholarship 2024
National means come merit scholarship or NMMS is a centralized sponsored scheme. Through this scheme, scholarship is provided to meritorious students of economically weaker sections. So that the dropout rate of such students will be reduced. Other than that with the implementation of this scheme students will be motivated to continue their studies at the higher secondary stage. This scheme is also implemented in the Indian State of Nagaland. Under this scheme, the government is going to provide one lacs scholarship every year throughout the country. Nagaland has a quota of 180 scholarships per year.
- The government will conduct exams to provide scholarships. All those students who will qualify for this exam will get us scholarship amount of Rs 1000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria Of Nagaland NMMS Scholarship 2024
- Student must have passed class 7th with at least 50% marks for SC and ST category
- The student must have passed class 7th with at least 55% marks for the general category
- The candidate must at least get 40% marks in case of a general category in each paper and 32% marks for ST, SC, and physically challenged category in each paper for qualifying for the examination
- The annual family income of the parents should not exceed Rs 3,50,000
- Applicant must be permanent president of Nagaland
- To continue the scholarship the bodies are required to pass with 55% marks relaxable by 5% for the scheduled tribe and scheduled caste candidates in the first attempt from class 9th to 12th

- The duration of examination for these papers will be 90 minutes
- Physically challenged groups of children will be given 30 minutes extra for each paper
