Scholarship for Pre-Matric ST Students 2024 was launched in the Mizoram state. To help the financially unstable students who belong to the SC category the Mizoram government launched the Mizoram scholarship for pre-Matric ST students. This scholarship will help financially unstable students to complete their education without worrying what financial troubles. All the students who are still studying in their school are eligible to apply for the pre-matric scholarship. Only the permanent citizens of Mizoram States can avail the benefits of this scheme. The applicant can fill out the application form on the official website before the last date to be selected for the scholarship.

The Mizoram State Government launched the Mizoram Scholarship for Pre-Matric ST Students to help the financial year unstable students. With the help of this scholarship, students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial troubles. Only St students are eligible to apply for the pre-matric scholarship. The selected students for the scholarship will get admission fees, tuition fees, and monthly allowance from the state government. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account. What is a matric Scholarship?

A pre-matric scholarship is for students who are still studying in school and have not cleared their class 12 examination. The scholarship will help the students to pursue higher education without worrying about financial troubles. The scholarship will help the students to focus more on their studies. To avail the benefits of a Pre-Matric scholarship the student can go to the national scholarship portal and fill out the application form here. Eligibility criteria

• The applicant must be a permanent citizen of Mizoram state
• The applicant should belong to the ST category.
• The applicant must score at least 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2 lakh.
• A total of 30% of scholarships are fixed for female candidates.

Financial Aid

• For the students who are studying in classes 6 to 10th the admission fees will be paid up to INR 500 and tuition fees up to INR 350.
• The selected students will also get a maintenance allowance for classes 1 to 6 will be INR 100 per month.

Selection Process

• The students will you selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria.
• Only the students who belong to the ST category will be selected for the scholarship.
• Only the students who are permanent citizens of Mizoram state will you selected for the scholarship.
• The applicant must fill out the application form before the last day to be selected for the scholarship
• If the candidate’s family annual income exceeds Rs. 2 lakh he will not be selected for the scholarship.

• On the new page read all the instructions and click on Continue.
• Fill out your mobile number and other details and click on verify.

• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
• You have to click on the option called “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• You have to click on the option called “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
