About Fakir Mohan Scholarship

Fakir Mohan Scholarship has been started for promoting the Odia language among the students of the state. The government of Odisha will offer a one-time scholarship amount to the students who score 90% marks in the Odia language. Students will get Rs. 20,000 as a scholarship, which is directly transferred into their bank account via the DBT method. Students from SC\ST\OBC\EWS\SEBC are eligible for registration.

• The target of this scholarship is to offer a scholarship amount to around 1500 eligible students who have command of oral and written the Odia language. Students from the UG course will get 1200 seats for scholarships and for PG students 300 seats are available.
• If you want to enroll under the Fakir Mohan Scholarship 2023 then must register yourself before 31st January 2023.

Objective of Fakir Mohan Scholarship

The main goal of implementing the Fakir Mohan Scholarship 2024 is to motivate students to show their interest in their own native language. As permanent residents of Odisha, they must know how to speak and write in the Odia language. Students from UG and PG courses will be able to study the Odia language in their college as a main subject. Benefits and Features of the Fakir Mohan Scholarship

Students from Odisha will be able to receive the following benefits after the selection in scholarship scheme:

• The Higher Education Department of Odisha is starting a new initiative for the students who enrolled in Higher education or Professional courses called Fakir Mohan Scholarship 2023.
• Students from UG and PG courses will be able to study the Odia language in their college as a main subject. And for scoring 90% marks in Odia language they will be able to get a scholarship amount which will encourage them or financially help them.
• The target of this scholarship is to offer a scholarship amount to around 1500 eligible students who have command of oral and written over the Odia language.
• Students from the UG course will get 1200 seats for scholarships and for PG students 300 seats are available.
• The amount of benefit will be transferred into their bank account via the Electronic Clearing System.
• This scholarship scheme is a one-time benefit, you cannot apply more than one time.
• The amount of the scholarship will be transferred in the installment system.

Eligibility Criteria for Fakir Mohan Scholarship

Students need to fulfill the following Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan scholarship eligibility before registration under the scholarship scheme:

• The students must be permanent residents of Odisha.
• Students should score 90% marks in Odia language during their graduation of higher education courses.
• Students must enroll under B.A and M.A. honors with Odia language.
• If any student enrolled in a distance program then they are not able to avail the benefit of a scholarship.

Fakir Mohan Scholarship Amount

The students who enrolled under Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Scholarship 2024, will receive Rs. 20,000 as a scholarship reward under their bank account via ECS. Students get this scholarship amount as a one-time payment in installment mode.

• The Login page will display on your screen. Here enter your Unique Number\Aadhar number, and Password then click on the Sign in button.

Steps to Know the Status of the Application Form

• Students need to visit the official website of the State Scholarship Portal, Odisha.
• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the Know Your Status option.
• After the page will open on your scream. Enter your Aadhar number or Application number.
• Click on the Get OTP option. After that, you will receive a 6-digit code on your mobile number, enter that code and click on the send button.
• Now all the required details will be on your screen.
