The Birla Soft Foundation has taken the initiative of introducing a Disha Scholarship Program for economically weaker section students of Pune or Delhi NCR to provide them an educational opportunity in degree or professional courses. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of selected candidates based on their pursuing course and eligibility criteria so candidates must fill in the application form according to their preference.
The students will need to fill in their application form before the deadline which will be on 5th February 2024. So, students must fill out their application form online form via visiting the official website. Overview of the Disha Scholarship Program
The Disha scholarship program is introduced for students who are enrolled in degree or professional undergraduate courses in NIRF institutions or accredited universities and colleges across India. The students who got selected under the Disha scholarship program will get a scholarship amount of up to rupees 25000 per annum which covers their educational expenses including tuition fees and other accommodations. The family income of the Candidate should not be more than Rs. 500000 per annum.
- The age of applying for a candidate should be between 17 to 29 years for admission under the eligible courses. The duration of financial assistance will depend upon the course in which the candidate is enrolled. If it is a degree course then the scholarship amount will continue for 3 years and professional courses it will be continued for 4 years.

Disha Scholarship for General Graduation Students
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must enroll in undergraduate or bachelor’s degree courses in at a recognized/affiliated college/university in the academic year 2023-24.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Pune or Delhi NCR.
- Students must score at least 75% marks or CGPA in the 12th Board examination in the previous academic year in Pune, Maharashtra, or Delhi NCR.
- The family income of the Candidate should not be more than Rs. 500000 per annum.
- The age of applying for a candidate should be between 17 to 29 years for admission under the eligible courses.
- Applicants from Buddy4Study, Samhita, and BirlaSoft are not eligible.
Disha Scholarship for Professional Graduation Students
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must enroll in Professional courses in at a recognized/affiliated college/university in the academic year 2023-24.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Pune or Delhi NCR.
- Students must score at least 75% marks or CGPA in the 12th Board examination in the previous academic year in Pune, Maharashtra or Delhi NCR.
- The family income of the Candidate should not be more than Rs. 500000 per annum.
