CM Overseas Scholarship for Minorities 2024
The chief minister of Telangana mister Revanth Reddy. To provide financial support to deserving students who get admission to foreign universities to pursue postgraduate studies, the overseas scholarship programme for minority students was introduced in the academic year 2015–16. The programme would help minority students who meet additional eligibility requirements and are original inhabitants of Telangana state. Eligible students can apply online at the official website for an overseas scholarship under the programme. The women’s candidates will get around thirty-three percent of the total scholarship grants.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for applying under this scheme is simple and is given below:-
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Telangana.
- The applicant should be a member of the Minority community of the state.
- Applicant must be below the age of 35, as of 1st July of the application year.
- Only one person from a family can apply under this scheme.
- The applicants have valid TOEFL/IELTS and GRE/GMAT scores.
- Candidate should possess a valid passport.
- The total income of the family should be less than 5 lakh per year from all sources.
Financial Benefits
The candidates applying under this scheme will get a final assistance of rupees 20 lakh in two installments. The amount will be directly transferred to the students bank account.

Benefits of Chief Minister Overseas Scholarship for Minorities
The benefits of applying under this scheme are given below:-
- Financial aid will be provided to qualified students for Payment of fees in two installments Students will get Instalment I: ₹10.00 Lakhs or the real fee, whichever is less, upon presenting their immigration cards (Immigration Cards) and landing permits. Students who present their first semester results will receive Instalment II: ₹10.00 Lakhs or the real fee, whichever is less. For individuals who enroll in the course, the grant will pay for both fees and living expenses.
- The Selection Committee will select the individuals who will get the funding.
- Candidates can obtain a visa from the relevant Embassy by using the appropriate procedures.
- Any Nationalized Bank will offer student loans at the existing interest rates.
- Recipients will have the opportunity to work as teaching or research assistants in order to augment their allotted allowances.
- Additionally, upon presenting the ticket details, the chosen candidates will get payment for a one-way ticket.

Selection Process
- To be eligible for a postgraduate course, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, pure sciences, agriculture sciences, medicine and nursing, social sciences, or humanities must be completed with 60% of the possible points or an equivalent grade.
- A postgraduate degree in engineering, management, pure sciences, agricultural sciences, medicine, social sciences, or the humanities with a minimum of 60% of the possible points is required for the Ph.D. programme.
