Objective of Colgate Scholarship 2023

Colgate scholarship is launched by the Keep India Smiling Foundation Scholarship Programme. This scholarship is an excellent initiative created by the organization to help the athletes in India who do not have the resources to continue their training at prestigious institutes because sometimes sports training is very expensive for normal people. The scholarship of opportunity will be provided to deserving candidates who belong to the different types of categories available in India. This scholarship will promote equality because the students who are coming from the economically backward section will be provided with the opportunity irrespective of their financial situation. Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to successfully apply for the scholarship:

Scholarship Type	To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have passed the Class 12 board examination in 2022 with a minimum of 60% score. They should also be enrolled in a 3-year graduation program at a recognized institution in India. Additionally, the annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 5 lakhs.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Class 11	To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have cleared the Class 10 board exams in 2022 and should be currently enrolled in Class 11 at a recognized school in India. Additionally, the student must have secured a minimum of 75% in their Class 10 board exams, and their annual family income should be less than INR 5 lakhs.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for 3 Year Graduation	To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have passed the Class 12 board examination in 2022 with a minimum of 60% score. They should also be enrolled in a 3-year graduation programme at a recognized institution in India. Additionally, the annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 5 lakhs.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme for Engineering Courses	To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must have passed the Class 12 board examination in 2022 with a minimum score of 60%. Additionally, the candidate must be enrolled in a recognized professional course such as B.E./B.Tech/BDS/MBBS or others in India. Furthermore, the annual family income of the candidate should be less than INR 5 lakhs.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Sportsperson	The candidate must have participated at the state/national level in any sports category in the last 2-3 years. He/she must have achieved a national ranking within the top 500 or a state ranking within the top 100. The candidate must be between 9 to 20 years old as of 31st August 2022. The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 5 lakhs. The candidate must be affiliated with a Sports Coach or a recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy. The scholarship is open for playing individual sports such as chess, boxing, athletics, swimming, badminton, cycling, gymnastics, martial arts, powerlifting, running, etc.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Grant for Individuals Helping Others	The applicant must engage in activities that have a multiplier effect, impacting at least 20-25 people at an individual level. This may include teaching, training, or skilling underprivileged children, or providing sports training to them. The scholarship for community service is not applicable for NGOs that receive corporate funds or donation receipts of more than INR 1 lakh per year. The candidate should belong to an economically weaker or moderate-income group of society and possess a minimum educational qualification of graduation. Relevant community references must be provided by the candidate to support their community service work

• To apply for scholarships under the Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme, applicants must visit the application page at the budd4study website or the Colgate Scholarship official website.
• There are 5 scholarship options available, and applicants must choose the one they wish to apply for and click on the “Apply Now” button.
• After clicking on the button, applicants will be taken to a new page with instructions for the selected scholarship. They must then register with Buddy4Study by creating an account using their email/mobile/Gmail account and logging in to the application page.
• Once logged in, applicants must select the category and click on the “Start Application” button to access the application form.
• The applicants must provide all the required details and upload the necessary documents to complete the application form. After ensuring that all the information entered is correct, they must submit the form.

• Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. is conducting the ‘Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme’ from August 5, 2022, to March 31, 2023, for the ‘Scholarship offer period,’ which includes two separate programs.
• The Scholarship Program is only applicable to Indian Nationals from economically weaker sections or below the poverty line, who possess all the necessary documents at the time of application.
• Candidates must carefully review the categories and eligibility criteria mentioned below to determine which category applies to them and apply accordingly.
• The information collected during the registration process will only be used to shortlist candidates for the Scholarship Program.
• Selection is not guaranteed, and the process may take several months as it involves various steps for shortlisting and final selection.

• Upon successful selection for the Scholarship Program, the candidate will be contacted by Colgate or its technology implementation partner.
• Relevant supporting documents will be required before, during, or after the allocation of the applicable scholarship amount.
• Colgate reserves the right to perform internal due diligence to verify the candidate’s uploaded documents and to reject or disqualify any application, modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the scholarship, or change the program based on learning as appropriate.
• If any of the particulars mentioned in the form are found to be false or misleading at any time during or after the scholarship period, Colgate may withdraw the scholarship allotted to such a candidate.
• Colgate may modify, withdraw or cancel the Scholarship Program at any time at the discretion of the selection panel of Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme and CSR committee of Colgate.
• Colgate does not commit to employing any of the successful candidates.
• No candidate or individual has to pay any registration or application fee, and purchasing Colgate products is not mandatory for participating in the Scholarship Program.
• Colgate may use the photograph/profile of the scholarship applicant/beneficiary for future publication, disclosure, communication, and submissions before various authorities and interested parties without monetary compensation payable to any applicant and without restriction to its frequency and use.
• Colgate will not be held liable for any lack or lapse in communication due to failure or delay by internet, telecom, SMS, and/or E-mail service providers.
• The Scholarship Program is not open to employees of the Company, its affiliates, or their family members.
• The Company’s decision regarding the Scholarship Program and the declaration of the winners is final and binding.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
