The Government of Assam state launched the Assam pre-matric scholarship for students who belong to the OBC category. Eligibility Criteria

• The scholarship is only available to the permanent citizens of Assam state.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed 2.5 lakh rupees  per air

The applicant must be studying in class 11th or 12th regularly in a government school only.

• They should belong to either of the OBC, EBC, or DNT categories through a valid certificate.
• The applicant must not be under any other scholarship by the government or any private organization. If awarded any other educational scholarship for studying in classes IX and X, the students can avail of either of the two scholarships as per his/her choice and should inform the awarding authority to the Head of the Institution about the option made.
• The applicant must hold a valid income certificate at the time of admission.

Selection Process

• The students will be selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria.
• Only the students who belong to the OBC category will be selected for the Assam Pre-Matric Scholarship.
• Only the permanent citizens of Assam state will be selected for the Assam pre-matric scholarship.
• If the candidate’s family annual income exceeds Rs. 2.5 lakh he will not be selected for the scholarship
• The applicant must fill out the application form before the last date to be selected for the scholarship.

• Click on the option New Registration On the homepage.
• On the new page read all the instructions and click on Continue.
• Fill out your mobile number and other details and click on verify.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• You have to click on the option called Application Form
• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
• You have to click on the option called “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• You have to click on the option called “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
