Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship 2024: Apply Online and Eligibility

For students of Himachal Pradesh, a new scholarship scheme has been introduced by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India for the Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste students of Himachal Pradesh who are currently enrolled in class 9th or 10th standard. Through the implementation of the Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship 2024, meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses.

Students who got selected under the Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship 2024 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration. The registration process will end on 23rd February 2024. So, students must fill out their application form online form via visiting the official website. About Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship

The Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship is introduced by the Government of India for the ST/SC students to financially support them. The students will get a scholarship amount up to Rs.3,500 for day scholars and Rs.7000 for hostellers. This scholarship amount will depend on the students who are hostellers or day scholars. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.

• The annual family income of candidates from ST/SC community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. The best part of this Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship is that there are no Application fees for its submission. The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and academic records.

Objective of Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship

The main aim of the Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship Students will easily pay their fees.

• The selected students will receive a Scholarship amount for the duration of their pursuing course. What is the Himachal Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship?

The Himachal Pradesh Pre matric scholarship is introduced for the students who are enrolled in classes 9th to 10th level.  Here the words Pre Means Before and Matric Means 10th, those students who complete their 8th are eligible for applying under various Pre Matric Scholarships to avail of multiple scholarship benefits to complete their studies. Because most education of the matric level is very expensive and not all poor students can afford it. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribe or Scheduled Caste  Community of state. .
• The candidate must enroll inclass 9th or 10th level.
• The annual family income of candidates from ST or SC community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Applicants should not be involved in any other scholarship program.
