Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship 2024: Apply Online before Last Date

A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe students of Jammu and Kashmir who are currently enrolled in the pre-matric or Post-matric scholarship education level. Through the implementation of the Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship 2024, meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses. Students who got selected under the Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship 2024 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration. So, students must fill out their application form online form via visiting the official website. Overview of Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship

The Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship is introduced by the Government of India on the National Scholarship Portal for SC/ST students for financially supporting students. The SC/ST students will get a scholarship amount per year to cover their tuition fees or other expenses. The last date for registration under a specific scholarship will be from 15th Feb 2024 to 29th Feb 2024. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.

• The annual family income of candidates from SC/ST community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. The best part of this Jammu and Kashmir Scholarship is that there are no Application fees for its submission. The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and academic records.

Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should be a permanent resident of India.
• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste community.
• The annual family income of candidates from the SC/ST community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Students must enroll in class 9th or 10th standard.

Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship For Sc Students

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should be a permanent resident of India.
• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste community.
• The annual family income of candidates from the SC/ST community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Students must enroll in classes 11th, 12th, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, or Ph.D. level of courses under the recognized institute or university.
• Students who are in distance or online courses are also eligible for the scholarship.
• Candidates should not be involved in any other scholarship scheme for financial benefits.

Umbrella Scheme For Education of ST Students

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of India.
• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe community.
• Students should enroll in class XI or X standard.
• The annual family income of the candidate should not be more than Rs. 2 lakh.
• The scholarship recipient under this program is not eligible to hold another scholarship or stipend.
• Students must enroll in pre-matric classes in a Government School or in a School recognized by Govt. or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
• The scholarship will be given for only one year of school education.

• Applicants first need to visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the New Registration option.
• A new page will open on your screen, read all the instructions and click on the Continue button.
• Now the registration page will appear on your screen. If in all the necessary details such as:
  • State
  • Scholarship Category
  • Name of the student
  • Scheme type
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Bank IFSC code
  • Bank account number
  • Identification details
• After filling all these steps click on the submit button. All the process of registration will be completed.

• After that the Login page will open on your screen, here enter the following details:
