The Government of India has launched the PM YASASVI Scholarship 2024. Eligibility Criteria Under PM Yashasvi Scheme
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of India
- Applicant should be long to OBC or EBC or DNT category
- Applicant must have passed class 8th or class 10th
- The annual income of the family should not excuse 2,50,000
- Those candidates who are applying for the class 9th Exam should have been born between April 1st, 2016 to March 31st, 2010 (both days inclusive)
- Those candidates who are applying for class 11th should have been born between April 1st, 2004 to March 31st, 2008( both days inclusive)

- Out of these students, 1547 will be from Tamil Nadu
- In order to provide the benefit of this scheme the government of Tamil Nadu has chosen 3997 schools for class 9th and 2596 schools for class 11th
- The norm for the selection of schools is their performance
- If the yield is 100% passing in 9th and 11th in the previous year then the school will be eligible to provide the benefit of this scheme
