The Government of West Bengal has introduced a new scholarship scheme for post-matric students who are currently in class 11th to PhD Level. Under this West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship 2024 all the selected students will be able to get a scholarship amount for fulfilling their educational expenses. The Post Matric Scholarship of West Bengal falls under the Aikyashree Scheme. Students need to fill in the application form before the last date which will be on 31st October 2023. The scholarship will be transferred into the bank account of students directly via the DBT Method.

• The applicant should score at least 50% marks in their previous examination.

The West Bengal SC/ST Post Matric Scholarship is introduced for the Students of West Bengal who are currently enrolled in class 11th to Ph.D. level. The students who belong to Minority communities like Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe are eligible to avail the financial assistance for fulfilling their educational expenses.

West Bengal OBC Post Matric Scholarship

The West Bengal OBC Post Matric Scholarship is introduced for the Students of West Bengal who are currently enrolled in class 11th to Ph.D. level. The students who belong to the Other Backward Community are eligible to avail the financial assistance for fulfilling their educational expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be permanent residents of West Bengal.
• Students should be enrolled in class 11th to Ph.D. level in any government-recognized college or university.
• The applicant should score at least 50% marks in their previous examination.
• The candidate must belong to the Other Backward Community.
• The annual family income of students should not be less than Rs. 2 lakh.
