The Sarkari Scholarship is an initiative of the National Scholarship Portal introduced for the students who are enrolled in the Matric or Post Matric Scholarship scheme. The students who belong to the economically weaker section will be able to get a scholarship amount to cover their educational expenses. Under the Sarkari Scholarship 2024 the scholarship amount will be distributed on the basis of candidates’ class in which they are pursuing or the state they belong to. So, candidates need to read all the instructions required for filing the application form.
The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method. The selection of students will be done on the basis of their eligibility criteria and academic record. It is compulsory for all the students to submit the application form before the last date.

Pre-matric scholarship is introduced for the students who are enrolled in class 1st to 9th standard. Here the word Pre Means Before and Matric Means 10th, so those students who are currently studying in class 1st to 9th standard are eligible for applying under various Pre Matric Scholarships that are available in NSP to avail its benefits to complete their studies. Because mostly the education of Post Matric level is very expensive and not all poor students can afford it. So, such Post Matric Scholarships will help thousands of meritorious students, it will fill the educational gap.
