PMS Scholarship 2024: Apply Online, Check Eligibility and Last Date

A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backwards Class students of Bihar who are currently enrolled in class 11th, 12th, or higher education level. Through the implementation of PMS Scholarship 2024 meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses. Students who got selected under the Post Matric Scholarship 2024 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration.

The registration process will start on 15th November 2023 and it will end on 31st December 2023. So, students must fill out their application form online form via visiting the official website. All the information related to the Post Matric Scholarship 2024 will be available in their post.

PMS Scholarship Bihar 2024

The PMS Scholarship is introduced by the SC/ST and MBC Welfare Department, Government of Bihar for the SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EWS students to financially support them. The SC/ST students will get a scholarship amount to cover their educational expenses. The OBC/SEBC/EWS students will get a fixed amount; This scholarship amount will depend on the students who are hostellers or day scholars.

• The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method. The annual family income of candidates from the SC/ST/OBC community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• The best part of this Post Matric Scholarship is that there are no Application fees for its submission. The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and academic records.

The objective of PMS Scholarship

The main aim of the PMS Scholarship is to make all financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this Post Matric Scholarship will easily pay their fees. The selected students will receive a Scholarship amount for the duration of their pursuing course. Many students are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of school fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students. This will encourage many talented students to fulfill their passion and make their families or India proud.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC, EWS Community of state. .
• The candidate must enroll in class 11th, 12th, UG, PG, or other higher-level courses.
• The annual family income of candidates from the SC community should not be more than Rs. 3 lakh.
• Applicants should not be involved in any other scholarship program.
• Applicants should score at least 50% marks in their previous examination.

• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to choose the scholarship in which you want to apply.
• After that a new page on here click on the New Registration option.
• Now the registration page will appear on your screen. If in all the necessary details such as:

  • Scheme type
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Bank IFSC code
  • Bank account number
  • Identification details
• After filling all these steps click on the submit button. All the process of registration will be completed.
