National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students – Scholarship (Formally Top Class Education for Schedule Tribe Students) – only for scholarships

To help the meritorious students who want to pursue their education in the fields of Management, Medicine/Science, Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Law and Social Science, etc. All the students who are currently pursuing their graduate or postgraduate degree at a government-recognized Institute are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Only the students who belong to the scheduled tribe category are eligible for this scholarship. The selected candidates for this scholarship will be awarded with financial assistance. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account. Any students who want to avail the benefit of this scheme are requested to fill out the application form before the last date 15 January 2024.

Eligibility Criiteria

• The applicant must be a member of the scheduled tribe category.
• The applicant must have secured admission in the notified Institutions and courses approved by the Ministry will be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme.
• The applicant must not be under any other scholarship by the central or state government.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 6 lakhs per year.

• Identity card of the worker (Form B Register Number in case of Mineworkers).
• Copy of the front page of the Bank passbook or Cancelled Cheque (which should contain details of the account holder/beneficiary).
• Passing Certificate/Mark Sheet of previous Academic Year
• Income Certificate issued by the Revenue Authority
