To encourage the education of young talented students, L’Oréal India has announced the implementation of the L’Oréal India For Young Women In Science Scholarship 2023-24. The girls who completed their 12th standard in the science stream will participate in the L’Oreal Scholarship to get financial assistance to cover their educational expenses. The L’Oréal India For Young Women In Science Scholarship 2024 will motivate girls to get admission in science stream courses in their undergraduate.

Students need to submit their application form before the deadline which will be on 7th January 2024. The financial assistance will be given in installment form per year after the verification from the college. The L’Oréal India for Young Women In Science Scholarship 2024 is an initiative of L’Oreal for Indian girls to motivate and encourage them towards getting higher education in the following fields: Pure Sciences/Applied Sciences/Engineering/Medical, etc. The girls who passed the 12th standard in the academic year 2022-23 will be able to register if there is a one-year gap then the candidate is not eligible. The selected girl students will get a scholarship amount of Rs. 2,50,000 for their graduation courses.

• The financial assistance will be given in installment form per year after the verification from the college. Student selection will be done by the selection committee based on their eligibility criteria and document verification. Students must score at least 85% in their 12th board to be selected for the L’Oréal India for Young Women In Science Scholarship 2024.

The main aim of L’Oréal India for Young Women In Science Scholarships is to make all the financially weak girl students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this L’Oréal India for Young Women In Science Scholarships, students will easily pay their graduation fees. The selected students will receive Rs. 2,50,000 for the duration of graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of India.
• The candidate should be female and pass 12th standard in a recognized school in the academic year 2022-23.
• Female candidates should enroll in undergraduate courses in the following fields: Pure Sciences/Applied Sciences/Engineering/Medical, etc.
• The annual family income should not be more than Rs. 6,00,000.
• Candidates must score 85% or more marks in their 12th board in PCB/PCM/PCBM.
• The girls who passed the 12th standard in the academic year 2022-23 will be able to register if there is a one-year gap then the candidate is not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection of students will be done in the following manner:

• The fulfillment of eligibility criteria is decided by the L’Oreal India Foundation.
• The verification of documents and Telephone interviews of shortlisted candidates.
• The personnel or video call interview session by the Jury of L’Oreal India for the selection of students.
