Khelo India Scholarship Scheme 2024 was launched by the government of India. The Government of India has announced that the authorities will provide financial assistance to almost 3000 athletes across India. The Sports Authority of India has promised that the authority will provide financial assistance of INR 1,20,000 to all the athletes selected in the Scheme 2024. Financial Aid Released Under Khelo India Scholarship

The Government of India along with the Sports Authority of India has announced that the authorities will provide financial assistance of INR 1,20,000 to all the applicants participating in the Khelo India Scholarship Scheme. Apart from the financial assistance of INR 1,20,000, the sports authority will also spend INR 5 lakh for all the athletes in the scheme for training and diet purposes. Almost 3000 athletes are selected under the Khelo India scholarship scheme 2024 by the sports authorities. The Sports Authority of India will provide an Out-of-Pocket Allowance of ₹ 7,71,30,000 for 2571 Khelo India Athletes for Quarter 4 of the financial year 2023-24.

Eligibility Criteria

• Athletes from all parts of the country can register (all over India).
• Applicants should have a great interest in sports and must be playing particular sports.
• Candidates below the age of 21 can compete in the under-21 categories.
• Only the students from schools (i.e. under the 17 groups) were eligible but to provide opportunities to more athletes, the ministry decided to introduce a new category for college students. The age criteria for both are as-
