The Government of Sikkim has taken the initiative of introducing CM Scholarship Sikkim 2024 for the students of state who belong to economically weaker sections and cannot afford their educational expenses. Under this CM Scholarship Sikkim, the students from class 1st to 5th standard from Government schools get an opportunity to study in Public schools only when they score 1st position in their 5th standard. The student must be a permanent resident of Sikkim.

The scholarship amount will be given to the students based on their pursuing courses. Students will also pursue in their state or another state. The scholarship amount depends on the state in which they are pursuing. Under the CM Scholarship Sikkim 2024 various types of scholarship programmes are available which will be provided to the students on different levels. The economically weak students will get free education. Previously the department had decided to offer scholarships to the school students but now it is extended to the Graduation level. So, the students who get scholarship benefits will get it until the completion of their graduation.

• The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and through the selection test which will be conducted by the Examination Section of HRD Department. It will motivate or encourage many talented or meritorious students to achieve their life goals. The age of the student should be from 11-12 1/2 years.

The main aim of CM Scholarship Sikkim is to financially support the Economically Weaker Section of students to support their education so they continue their studies without the financial burden. Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Sikkim.
• Students should be studying in Government schools from class 1st to 5th standard.
• The candidate must score 1st position in their 5th standard and fulfill all the criteria, if not their the 2nd children will get selected for the scholarship.
• The age of students must be between 11 to 12 years.
• Students must belong to the economically weaker section.

• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the New Registration option.
• Now the registration page will appear on your screen. If in all the necessary details such as:
  • Name of the student
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Bank IFSC code
  • Bank account number
  • Identification details
• After filling all these steps click on the submit button. All the process of registration will be completed.
