Chandigarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students 2024 Apply Online

A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled caste students of Chandigarh who are currently enrolled in class 11th, 12th, or higher education level. Through the implementation of the Chandigarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students, 2024 meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses. Students who got selected under the Chandigarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students 2024 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration.

The Chandigarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students is introduced by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India for the SC students for financially supporting them. The SC  students will get a scholarship amount of up to Rs.550 for day scholars and Rs.1200 for hostellers. This scholarship amount will depend on the students who are hostellers or day scholars. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.

• The annual family income of candidates from the SC community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. The best part of this Chandigarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students is that there are no Application fees for its submission. The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and academic records.

The main aim of the Chandigarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. Because mostly the education of Post Matric level is very expensive and not all poor students can afford it. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Chandigarh.
• The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste Community of the state.
• The candidate must enroll in class 11th, 12th, Undergraduate, or Postgraduate level.
