CCRT Scholarship 2024: Apply Online for Cultural Talent Search Scholarship

To re-establish the Indian tradition of classical dance, music, sculpture or art is the main aim of CCRT. The Centre for Cultural Resource and Training has organised the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme since 1982 at the National level to encourage and motivate talented children who have the quality of representing traditional forms of art. Many students are still in touch with their culture from its roots and practising traditional forms of music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, and other activities. These students will get an opportunity to enrol themselves under CCRT Scholarship 2024.

This CCRT Scholarship 2024 will offer a scholarship amount of Rs. 3500/- per year to students from  10 to 14 years who belong to families who are practising various traditional forms or from recognised schools. This CCRT Scholarship 2024 will offer 650 scholarships every year for all cultural students.

Importance of Cultural Talent Search Scholarship

The Cultural Talent Search Scholarship is a hope for all those students who are practising various forms of cultural events to motivate and support them by offering financial assistance so they look forward to making their career. Students from across the nation receive training under the Centre for Cultural Resource and Training Centre.  Additionally, CCRT offers special scholarships and courses for educating students who are intellectually or physically disabled.

• Students from Tribal Cultures (ST), children of families who practice traditional arts, individuals with Differently Abled (Divyang), and applicants in the field of Creative Writing/Literary Art are also eligible for this grant.
• More and more students will show their talent and get a platform to showcase and get mentorship under the presence of multi-talented Guru\Teachers. Students can also get financial help after the selection under the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship.

The objective of Scholarship CCRT

The aim of CCRT Scholarship 2024 is to provide facilities to students who are enrolled in practising various forms of traditional activities like music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, etc. In this era, students are more interested in opting for modern culture and in this crowd, our traditional form is hidden somewhere. To re-establish the various cultural forms can be achieved by promoting our new generation towards it by providing more facilities and new platforms where students do practise under the guidance of trained gurus.

CCRT Scholarship Eligibility

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
• Students must belong to any recognised school or to families who are practising various traditional forms.
• The age of candidate must be between 10 to 14 years.
• Students must enrol in educational courses.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in their specific art form under the guidance of their Guru. Teachers or Trainers.
• Applicants must be practising traditional forms of music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, and other activities.
• Students must have a competency level in order to be accepted for the CCRT Scholarship because it has been specifically designed for those who want to acquire thorough and advanced instruction in the traditional art form of their choice.

Features of the CCRT Scholarship

• The Centre for Cultural Resource and Training has organized the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme since 1982 at the National level to encourage and motivate talented children who have the quality of representing traditional forms of art.
• This CCRT Scholarship 2023 will offer a scholarship amount of Rs. 3500\- per year.
• A maximum annual refund of Rs. 9,000, we are given to the actual tuition fees paid to the Guru/Teacher.
• This CCRT Scholarship 2023 will offer 650 scholarships every year for all cultural students.
• Out of 650 Scholarships, 100 scholarships will be given to the Students who belong to ST Community.
• 125 scholarships will be given to students from families who are practising various traditional forms.
• Physically disabled students will get 20 scholarships.
• 30 scholarships for students applying in the fields of creative writing and literary arts.
• The 375 remaining awards will be considered general awards.
• The CCRT scholarship has a 2-year initial term that can be extended up to 20 years of age or until the scholar has completed the first-degree level of their studies.

Award Details Related to the CCRT Scholarship

• The selected candidates will receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 3500/- per year.
• A maximum annual refund of Rs. 9,000, we are given to the actual tuition fees paid to the Guru/Teacher.
• After the completion of the CCRT scholarship, the candidates will get a certificate from the organization.

Selection Process CCRT Scholarship

• The selection of candidates will be done by the Central Selection Committee after analysis of the CCRT Scholarship 2024 application form submitted at the CCRT, New Delhi.
• The shortlisted candidates will be called out for an interview session and the fixed time or date will be informed via phone call.
• This may be held at the regional level between May to August each year.
• The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the team of the Central Selection Committee and will be marked on the rank of 1 to 10 based on their talent.
• After the interview session, the total marks of applicants will decide their selection.
• The final decision of the Central Selection Committee will be considered.

• Applicants need to visit the Official Centre for Cultural Resource Website of CCRT.
• The homepage will appear on your screen. Here you have to click on the CCRT Program option under the Scholarship section.
• After that click on the Download button for the application form.
• The application form will be downloaded on your device, print it out.
• After that fill in all the necessary details in your application form and also attach the required documents:
  • Caste certificate
  • Income certificate
  • Proficiency certificate
  • Experience certificate, etc
• As you complete the form submit it by post at the given address:

Terms and Conditions

• Candidates who belong to the TAF category should submit a written statement outlining at least three different generations and the contributions each generation made to the cultural art form.
• The Guru\Teacher\Trainer must submit the 6-month report of the candidate about their progress under the specific art form to the New Delhi centre during the CCRT Scholarship duration. The1st, 6-month report will be submitted from January to June and the report must be submitted by the 15th of July.
• The 2nd half progress report will be from July to December and submitted by the 15th of January.
• There will be no state quota for the candidate under CCRT Scholarship.
• Applicants are not permitted to avail the benefit of any other scholarship without the permission of CCRT.
