The Bihar Government has introduced a new scholarship known as Bihar Board Inter 1st Division Scholarship 2024. The students of Bihar who passed the 12th Board With 1st Division are able to apply for a scholarship amount. Many students belong to economically weaker sections of the state and cannot afford their educational expenses. Under the Bihar Board Inter 1st Division Scholarship 2023-24 students need to pass the 12th board in 2023 with 1st division. This scholarship will apply only to 2 members per family.

The Bihar Board Inter 1st Division Scholarship is introduced by the Bihar Government for the students who recently passed their 12th board with 60% marks or 1st Division. The selected students will be able to receive Rs. 25,000 as a one-time payment for fulfilling their educational expenses. The candidate’s family income should not be more than Rs. 1.5 lakh. Under this Bihar Board Inter 1st Division Scholarship, students from all the categories are eligible to apply.

• Previously the selected students were getting Rs. 10,000 but now the government has changed the rule and the scholarship amount is changed to Rs. 25,000. After the use of this scholarship amount, students will be able to fulfill their higher education needs.

The main aim of the Bihar Board Inter 1st Division Scholarship is to offer financial assistance to the students of Bihar who score more than 60% in their 12th boards. Through this scholarship amount, students will be able to continue their undergraduate courses without financial burden. The students will get a scholarship amount to complete their tuition fees, hostel fees, food accommodation, stationery items or many more. Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• Students must score at least 60% marks in their 12th board for the academic year 2023.
• The annual family income of the candidate should be less than Rs. 1.5 lakh.
• Candidates must belong to the Backward class or EBC Community.
• Candidates should be studying in a centrally or state-recognized institute.
• This scholarship will apply only to 2 members per family.
