Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship 2024: How to Apply Online

Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship was presented in order to provide opportunities to the people who were not able to continue their education because they were coming from the economically backward section of society. The scholarship is only available for female students who are studying in classes 9th to class 12th and do not have the proper economical conditions in order to continue their education in India. The scholarship is only available for students if they are currently studying in Institutions available in India; however, this scholarship is not available for students who want to continue their education outside India. You must follow the annual family income eligibility presented by the government in order to apply for this scholarship.

Objective Of Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship

The main objective of the Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship is to provide proper opportunities to people who come from a minority community and are not able to get proper economic opportunities in order to continue their education in India. If you are someone who is suffering from financial conditions that are not in your favor then you can apply for this prestigious scholarship and you will be provided benefits. The monetary benefits will be directly provided to the bank account of the beneficiaries and the beneficiaries will be able to use definition benefits in order to continue their education in prestigious institutes across India. Up to Rupees 12000 will be provided to the students from class 9th to 12th.

Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship Scheme Benefits

• The students will be provided financial assistance for expenditure on payment of School/College fees, purchase of syllabus books, purchase of stationery/equipment required for the course, and payment of Boarding/Lodging charges.
• The students will be provided moral support in order to continue their education even when they are coming from the economically backward section of society.
• The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries and they will be able to get the benefit of the scholarship accordingly.
• The applicants can easily check the application status of the scholarship by visiting the official NSP scholarship portal and it will help them to keep track of the payments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only girls belonging to the minority community that is Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis are eligible.
• Scholarships will be provided to the students from class 9th to 12th who scored 50% marks in their previous exam.
• The annual family income of the applicant must be below Rs 2 lakh.
• An income certificate must be issued from a component authority according to the income criteria.
• A community Certificate is required if the students are above the age of 18 years.
• If a student violates School discipline or any other terms and conditions of the school then this scholarship will be suspended.
• If the student has obtained this scholarship with a false statement then this scholarship will be canceled.
• If you are getting the benefit of this scholarship then you will not be getting the benefit of another scholarship.
• Only one scholarship will be provided to one applicant.
• Only one scholarship will be provided to a student from one family.
• No scholarship will be given to students studying abroad.
• No application fees are to be submitted to apply for the scholarship.
• The scholarship will be submitted directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries.

Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship Reward Details

• The amount of scholarship will be provided Rs.5000/each for Class IX & X and Rs.6000/-each for Class XI & XII twice a year.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of eligible students is based on the %age of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam and the parent’s/ guardian’s annual income. Merit lists are prepared for the selection of students based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. State-wise-community-wise quota is fixed on the basis of the minority population of the state in accordance with the 2011 Census.
• The scholarship amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the.
• This scholarship will be discontinued if there is a gap in the academic session due to any reason.
• If the students are providing false statements to obtain the scholarship then the scholarship will be canceled.

Documents Required

• Recent passport-size photograph of the applicant
• School verification form attested by the Principal of the school/institute
• Mark sheet of the last exam passed attested by the Principal
• Parents/Guardians’ income certificate issued by a competent authority declared by the State/UTs Administration.
• Self-declaration of minority community certificate by the applicant
• Self-certified copy of the first page of the bank/postal account passbook which should be in the name of the applicant (either single or joint account with her parents)
• A copy of the applicant’s Aadhaar card (in case of unavailability of an Aadhaar card, applicants can submit a birth certificate, BPL card or Rashan card)

Registration Process

• The candidates will first have to visit the official National Scholarship website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
• The home page with the Begum Hazrat Mahal national scholarship application form will open on your screen.
• Click on the option called Fresh Application
• A new page will open on your screen and you have to click on the option called New Student Register Here
• The instructions will open on your screen.
• Tick mark the declaration.
• Click on the “Continue” option.
• Enter all of the details.
• Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details etc.
• Enter the captcha code y
• Click the “Register” option.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• Click on the option called Application Form
• The application form will be displayed on the screen
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID etc.
• Click on “Save & Continue”
• Upload the documents.
• Click on “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.
