About Mizoram Scholarship Board

Mizoram Pre Matric Scholarship for St Students

To help the students studying in a school in Mizoram state the Mizoram state government launched the Mizoram pre-matric scholarship for ST students. The main objective of launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to financially unstable students who want to pursue higher education. The students can focus more and their studies without worrying about financial troubles. Only the students who belong to the schedule tribe category are eligible to avail the benefits of the Mizoram Pre Matric Scholarship for St Students. The financial assistance from this scheme will be transferred directly to the selected applicants’ bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh.
• The applicant must belong to the schedule to tribe category.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Mizoram state.
• The applicant must be studying in class 9th or 10th to avail the benefits of this scheme.

Merit Cum Means-Based Scholarship

The Ministry of Minority Affairs in Mizoram state launched the Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship. This scheme will help all the meritorious students who belong to minorities in Mizoram state who want to pursue higher education. To help all the students who have completed their class 12th examination and want to study higher education the Mizoram State Government launched the Mizoram Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Students. All the applicants who belong to the minority community in the Mizoram state are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. With the help of this Scholarship, the students can pursue professional courses without worrying about financial troubles. The selected candidates for this scholarship will get financial assistance from the state government.
