Eligibility Criiteria

• The scholarships are open only to Indian nationals.
• The applicant should be at least 40% disabled to avail of the benefits of this scheme.
• The applicant must have a valid certificate of disability issued by the complement authority as prescribed.
• Only two children with disabilities of the same parent will be entitled to receive the benefit of this scheme.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per year.
• The duration of the scholarship is only one year
• The applicant must not be under any other scholarship by the central or state government to avail of the benefits of this scholarship.

Post-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

To help the students who have cleared their class 12th examination and are disabled the government launched the post-matric scholarship for the students with disabilities. All the students who want to pursue higher education but cannot due to financial problems. Are eligible to apply for post-matric scholarships for students with disabilities. All the students who have a valid disability certificate or 40% disabled are eligible to apply for this scheme. The selected students for the scholarship will get financial assistance. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account. To avail the benefits of this scholarship the students must fill out the application form before the last date 11th January 2024.

Scholarships for Top-Class Education for Students with Disabilities

All the students who want to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees are eligible to apply for Scholarships for Top-Class Education for Students with Disabilities. There are a total of 300 seats available for this scholarship. From the total of 300 seats, 50% of seats are reserved for female candidates. All the students who have a valid disability certificate or 40% disabled are eligible to apply for this scheme. The selected students for the scholarship will get financial assistance. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account. The last date to apply for the scholarship is 11th January 2024.
