Sikkim Scholarship 2024 was launched to help the financially unstable students of Sikkim State. To help the financially unstable students who want to study higher education without worrying about financial trouble the Sikkim State Government launched the Sikkim scholarship. Under these scholarships, the students will get financial support from the State Government to complete their education. The scholarship is available to all the students who belong to ST, SC OBC, and other minorities in the Sikkim state. All students who belong to financially backward families can fill out the application form to avail of the Sikkim scholarship benefits.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students

To help the students of Sikkim state to pursue their education after completing their class 12th examination. The Sikkim State Government launched the Post Matric Scholarship scheme for St students in the Sikkim state. All the students who belong to the ST category are eligible to apply for a post-matric scholarship scheme for ST students. This scholarship will help the students to continue their education without worrying about financial troubles. The last date to apply for the post-matric scholarship scheme for St students is 29 February 2024. Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a permanent citizen of Sikkim state.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2 lakh per year.
• The applicant must be pursuing a post-matric and post-secondary course in any government-recognized college.

PM Yasasvi Pre-Matric Scholarships For OBC, EBC, and DNT Students

The Sikkim State Government launched the PM Yashasvi pre-matric scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DND students. All the students who work currently studying in a government or government-aided school in Sikkim state are eligible to apply for the PM Yashasvi pre-matric scholarship for OBC students. The last date to apply for the PM Yashasvi pre-matric scholarship for OBC and other students is 29 February 2024. Eligibility Criteria

• The student must be a permanent citizen of Sikkim state

The Sikkim State Government launched the PM Yashasvi post-matric scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DNT students. All the students who have cleared their class 12th examination are eligible to apply for the PM Yashasvi post-matric scholarship. The last date to apply for the PM Yasasvi Post Matric Scholarship is 29th February 2024. The selected students for the scholarship will get INR 10,000 per year. Only the students who belong to OBC, EBC, and DNT students are eligible to apply for the school.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only the permanent citizens of Sikkim state are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
• The applicant must belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and De-Notified Tribes (DNT) category.

The Sikkim State Government launched the pre-matric scholarship for ST students in classes IX and X. This scholarship will help all the students currently studying in classes 9th and class 10th. The selected students who are hostels in any school will get INR 1350 and day Scholars will get INR 1000. Only the students who belong to the ST category are eligible to apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarships For St Students in Class IX AND Class X. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must belong to the ST category.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 2 lakh per year.
• The application should not be getting any other central prematrix scholarship.
• The applicant must be a regular student in any government-recognized government school.
• The duration of the scholarship is just one year.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC Students Studying In Class IX And X

To help all the students who were currently studying in class 9th and 10th so that they can continue their education. The Sikkim State Government launched the pre-matric scholarship for SC students studying in classes 9th and 10th. All the students who belong to the SC category are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The selected students who are hostels in any school will get INR 1350 and day Scholars will get INR 1000. To help the students whose parents are engaged in unclean occupance occupation. The central government launched the Pre-Matric Scholarships For Children Of Parents Or Guardians Engaged In Unclean Occupation. This scholarship will help the students to complete their education without worrying about financial trouble. The selected students for the scholarship will get financial assistance from the government. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the applicant’s bank account. The last due to apply for the scholarship is 29th February 2024. The applicant must clear the eligibility criteria to avail the benefits of this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship will be admissible to the children/wards of Indian Nationals who, irrespective of their religion belong to one of the following categories:

• Tanners & Flayers.
• Waste Pickers.
• Persons who are Manual Scavengers as defined under section 2(I) (g) of the Manual Scavengers Act 2013.
• Persons engaged in hazardous cleaning as defined in Section 2(I) (d) of the Manual Scavengers Act 2013.
