MYSY Scholarship 2023-24: Apply Online before 31st December

The Government of Gujarat has taken the initiative of introducing the MYSY Scholarship scheme for the deserving or meritorious students of Gujarat. In this MYSY Scholarship students will get a scholarship amount to cover their educational expenses. The MYSY Scholarship only offers financial assistance to candidates who belong to economically weaker sections in particular cities that are eligible under this scholarship. The selected students will get financial assistance based on their pursuing courses.

This scholarship will help students to follow their dreams under the courses. All eligible students who want to apply under the MYSY Scholarship must register themselves before the deadline for the scholarship.  This scholarship will give you a chance to complete your higher education and get a suitable job that will support you throughout your future.

Overview of the MYSY Scholarship

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana has been introduced to the economically weak students of Gujarat. Students who are in higher educational courses like diploma courses, engineering, pharmacy, medical courses, and many more are eligible to apply. The scholarship amount will depend on the course in which the candidate is enrolled. The students must remember to fill in the application form before the deadline which will be on 31st December 2023. Most probably students will get around Rs. 2 lakh for their studies.

• The annual family income of students should not be more than Rs. 6,00,000. The selection of students will be done based on the fulfillment of their eligibility criteria and academic record. The objective of MYSY Scholarship

The main aim of the MYSY Scholarship is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. With the rising amount of college fees, many students are not able to pay it, as they are about to take a drop in their education. Through this MYSY Scholarship students will easily pay their graduation, post-graduation, or diploma fees. The selected students will receive Rs. 2,00,000 for the duration of their pursuit courses.

• Many students are very motivated towards their studies but the high rising amount of college fees cannot be affordable by economically disadvantaged students. This will encourage many talented women to fulfill their passion and make their family or India proud. It will be our responsibility to financially support and offer proper guidance to such talented students.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• The annual family income of the candidate should not be less than Rs. 6 lakh.
• Students should pass their 10th examination with at least 80% marks to get enrolled in Diploma courses.
• Students should score 80% marks in the 12th standard for enrolling in Graduation courses.
• To be eligible for the program, Diploma to Degree students must have received at least 65% of the possible points in their diploma-level exam from a Gujarati university that is accredited.
• As authorized by the State Government, the income certificate that the candidate’s parents submitted will be valid for three fiscal years from the date of issuance. For the next three fiscal years, candidates who already have a valid income certificate won’t need to get one.
