Under this Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance, the students who are permanent residents of Maharashtra, and enrolled in a Professional course will be eligible to get financial assistance to cover their maintenance allowance which includes: Their course books, stationery, food, and residence. Through the implementation of this Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance, multiple Scheduled caste students will fulfill their day-to-day expenses related to their course or stay at the hostel.

What is Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance for SC Student’s Professional Courses
Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance Scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled Caste students who are currently pursuing Professional courses. Students who are staying in Government hostels, Institute hostels or Outside hostels are able to get the maintenance allowance which will be used for various purposes. Students need to fill in their application form before the last date of Maharashtra Maintenance Allowance, which will be on 31st March 2024. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of candidates via direct bank transfer method.
