The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.

About Goa Post Matric Scholarship

The Goa Post Matric Scholarship is introduced for students who are currently enrolled in class 11th, 12th, Undergraduate, or postgraduate level. The students who belong to the economically weaker section of Goa can get financial help to complete their educational expenses. General Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must be a permanent resident of Goa.
  • The applicant should belong to the SC/ST/OBC Category.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should not be more than Rs. 3 lakh.
  • Students must enroll in school, undergraduate, postgraduate or Ph.D. courses in recognized institutes.
  • Candidates should not take part in any other scholarship schemes.

Kanya Dhan SchemeAn amount of Rs. 25,000/- will be provided by way of fixed deposit in the name of the girl child and the officer nominated by the Government. This amount will be given to the beneficiaries only when she passes 12th standard board examination or its equivalent examination in three attempts or within two years of first attempt whichever is earlier otherwise the money shall be forfeited and credited to Government Treasury.
