Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students 2024: Apply Online and Eligibility Criteria

A new scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Scheduled Tribe students of Goa who are currently enrolled in class 9th or 10th standard. Through the implementation of the Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students 2024 meritorious and needy students will get financial help to cover their educational expenses. Students who got selected under the Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students 2024 will need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for registration.

Overview of Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students

The Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students is introduced by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India for the ST students for financial supporting them. The ST students will get a scholarship amount of up to Rs.2250 for day scholars and Rs.5250 for hostellers. This scholarship amount will depend on the students who are hostellers or day scholars. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the bank account of the candidates via the DBT method.

• The annual family income of candidates from the ST community should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. The best part of this Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students is that there are no Application fees for its submission. The selection of students will be done based on their eligibility criteria and academic records.

The main aim of the Goa Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students is to make all the financially weak students educated the same as the financially privileged students. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Goa.
• The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribe Community of the state. .

• Applicants should not be involved in any other scholarship program.
