Charpak Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship

To help all the students who want to pursue their Bachelor’s Degree in France the Government of India and the French Embassy of India launched the Charpak Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship. All the students who want to pursue a full-time bachelor’s Degree in France are eligible to apply for the Charpak Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship. All the applicants who will get selected for the Charpak Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship will get a free visa and Monthly living allowance of 860 euros from the France authorities. All the applicants must fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of the Charpak Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be an Indian national or an OCI card holder
• The applicant must be 23 years old maximum at the time of application
• The applicant must have never before studied at an educational institution in France
• The applicant must have completed secondary school in India
• The applicant must have applied for an eligible bachelor’s program with a start date of 1 September 2024

Charpak Master’s Degree Scholarship

To help all the Indian students who want to pursue their master’s degree in France the France authority along with the Government of India announced the launch of the Charpak Master’s Degree Scholarship. With the help of this scholarship, students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial troubles. All the students who want to pursue their highest studies in France are eligible to apply for the Charpak Master’s Degree Scholarship. The selected candidates will receive a monthly living allowance of €860 (approx. ₹77,389) and other benefits. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be an Indian national or an OCI card holder
• The applicant must be a maximum of 30 years old at the time of application
• The applicant must be currently enrolled in or have studied at an Indian Institution of higher learning
• The applicant must have applied for admission at a French institution, before applying for the scholarship
• The applicant must demonstrate a basic understanding of the French language (not mandatory)

Charpak Research Internships

The French authorities also launched research internships for all the students of India who want to do their research. All the students who want to do their research in France are eligible to apply for the Charpak Research Internships launched by the French authorities in India. The duration of Charpak Research Internships will be 2 months. The selected applicants under the Charpak Research Internships will get a monthly allowance of 700 euros from the authorities. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of Charpak Research Internships.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be an Indian national residing in India at the time of application
• The applicant must not be more than 30 years old at the time of application
• The applicant must be enrolled in an Indian institution of higher learning at the Bachelor’s/Master’s level at the time of application
• The applicant must have an admission/acceptance letter from a French laboratory or institution where the research internship/project will be carried out.
• The duration of the research internship/project must not be less than 1 month and must not exceed 2 months.

Charpak Exchange programmes

All the students who want to study in France for only one semester can apply for the Charpak Exchange programs for the students who are pursuing higher studies in India. With the help of this program, students can feel the environment of studying in France for only one semester. The duration of this program is only 1 to 6 months for all the selected applicants from India. All the applicants who will get selected for Charpak Exchange programs will get a monthly spending of 860 from the French authorities. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form to avail the benefits of this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be an Indian national residing in India or an OCI card holder
• The applicant must not be more than 30 years old at the time of application
• The applicant must be currently enrolled in an Indian institution of higher learning that has a tie-up with the French institution where the applicant will pursue an exchange semester.
