A very new scholarship scheme has been introduced by the BSES Yamuna Power Limited for the students of Delhi who belong to economically weaker sections of society and cannot afford the expenses of the year’s education. Under the BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship 2024 the selected students will get Financial assistance of rupees 30000 as a scholarship amount which they will use only for their study purpose. The students must enroll in the last year of undergraduate courses under the Delhi government-recognized colleges.
The selection of students will be done based on multiple stages which include document verification, full filling of eligibility criteria, and telephonic interview or personal interview sessions. Candidates are capable of passing all the stages of verification then they are eligible to avail of the scholarship amount of this BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship.
Overview of BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship
The BSES Yamuna Power Limited has created the BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship for the underprivileged students of Delhi who are pursuing the last year of an undergraduate course in any stream. The selected students will get financial assistance of rupees 30000 for their educational purposes which includes tuition fees, food accommodation, hostel fees, books, and other essentials. That student and one family’s incomes mustn’t be more than 6 lakh. if any of the student’s family members work under BSES Power Limited or Buddy4Study organization then they are not able to avail the benefits of the BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship.
- The scholarship amount of the scheme will be transferred into the bank account of eligible candidates via direct bank transfer method. This is a one-time scholarship. The results of the scholarship will be released in February 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a permanent resident of Delhi.
- Candidates’ annual family income should not be more than 6 lakh.
- Students should enroll in the last year of undergraduate courses from any stream, under the Delhi government-recognized colleges.
- if any of the student’s family members work under BSES Power Limited or Buddy4Study organization then they are not able to avail the benefits of the BYPL SASHAKT Scholarship.
- Candidates should score at least 55% marks in their previous examination.
